Xavier Duval joins FMI as Head of Partnerships, APAC

Financial Marketing Insights (FMI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Xavier Duval as Head of Partnerships, APAC.
Based in Hong Kong, Xavier will lead FMI’s engagement with the financial services marketing community across the region, shaping the conversations that matter for the future of the industry. He will drive strategic partnerships, expand FMI’s regional footprint, and ensure APAC’s perspectives are represented across FMI’s global events, insights, and community platforms.
Xavier brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services marketing and communications across APAC. Most recently, he served as Head of Corporate Communications, APAC at Swift, where he spent more than a decade helping shape the organisation’s regional narrative during a period of rapid transformation in global financial infrastructure. Prior to Swift, he held senior marketing and communications roles at SunGard and Natixis. His deep sector expertise - spanning payments, capital markets, and financial technology - combined with a broad network across APAC’s major financial centres, positions him uniquely to help grow FMI’s community and impact across a region defined by its diversity, pace of innovation, and growing global influence.
