FMI and Cvent partner for second annual UAE Financial Services Marketing & Communications Summit

Financial Marketing Insights (FMI) returns to Dubai on 1 October 2026 for the second annual UAE Financial Services Marketing & Communications Summit, delivered alongside Cvent Accelerate Dubai at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City.

The collaboration brings together two complementary communities at a time when the role of events, relationships and meaningful engagement is being redefined across financial services.

For FMI, the partnership provides its senior financial services marketing community with access to a broader programme of event, marketing and tech leaders, while Cvent Accelerate creates an opportunity to bring financial services marketers into a wider conversation around how events and experiences can generate stronger relationships and measurable business value.

Starting just ahead of Cvent Accelerate, the UAE FS Marketing & Comms Summit will bring together senior marketing and communications leaders from across banking, asset management, fintech and the wider financial services ecosystem for focused discussion on the issues shaping the profession - from customer engagement and brand relevance to AI, commercial growth and the changing role of live experiences.

The partnership builds on FMI and Cvent’s wider 2026 collaboration, with Cvent serving as the exclusive event technology provider for FMI’s global summit series across London, Singapore, New York and Dubai. The partnership is designed to create deeper connections within FMI’s community while giving members opportunities to engage with Cvent’s regional Accelerate events.

Abdul‑Rahim Osman, Vice Chair & Regional Head of Partnerships, Middle East, FMI, said: “Events are having to work harder… The real question is what happens because they were there - what relationships are created, what ideas are exchanged, what opportunities emerge and ultimately what value is created.”

Jacob Howard, Founder of FMI, added: “Financial services is one of the world’s most relationship-driven industries, and our members increasingly recognise that events can be much more than moments in a marketing calendar. Done well, they can create relationships, generate insight, strengthen brands and contribute to commercial outcomes.

“Returning to Dubai for a second year alongside Cvent Accelerate is a natural extension of that ambition. It gives our community another opportunity to connect with peers and explore how better engagement can create greater value.”
