Elaine Guedes joins FMI as Head of Partnerships - Spanish & Latin American Markets

Financial Marketing Insights (FMI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Elaine Guedes as Head of Partnerships – Spanish & Latin American Markets.
Elaine will lead FMI’s engagement with the financial services marketing community across Spain and Latin America, helping strengthen relationships with senior marketers, industry partners, and institutions throughout the region. She will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, growing FMI’s regional presence, and ensuring the perspectives, challenges, and innovations emerging from Spanish-speaking markets are represented across FMI’s global events, insights, and community platforms.
Elaine brings over 20 years of international experience in marketing, events, communications, and business development across financial services, technology, media, and consulting. Throughout her career, she has led high-profile marketing and event initiatives for global organisations including Lloyds Banking Group, Standard Bank, ICBC Standard Bank, BNY Mellon, Lazard, Arm, SUEZ, and The Economist Group.
A specialist in building communities, strategic partnerships, and executive-level engagement programmes, Elaine has delivered large-scale international conferences, leadership summits, investor events, webinars, and integrated marketing campaigns across Europe, Latin America, North America, and APAC. Her extensive experience working with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives, combined with her multicultural background and fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, positions her uniquely to support FMI’s continued international growth.
